The Lindenwood University Veterans Affairs Center, which recently celebrated its one-year anniversary, continues to grow and service more student veterans.
The office, run by Donna Simms, serviced nearly 50 new enrollees in the last two months and continues to deal with the day-to-day education needs of our veterans.
Simms said the office is a one-stop shop for veterans to get all of their benefits taken care of in a timely fashion—certifying Chapter 30, 31, 33, voc rehab, and anything to do with the Montgomery GI Bill. In addition, a Missouri National Guard staffer assists with federal and state tuition assistance matters.
Simms said the Veterans Affairs Center is also a place to relax and have a cup of coffee, surf the internet, study, or watch the big screen television.
